Teacher’s comments
My association with DPS has been a truly enriching and rewarding experience. This position has given me an opportunity to shape the future generation of India in their intellectual capacity. The Delhi Public School has supported me in this endeavour by facilitating my participation at courses conducted by the CBSE on the current trends of teaching methods. This support sponsored by the eminent members of the Calorx Foundation together with the sharp minds of the student fraternity have inspired me to achieve greater heights of excellence in the world of contemporary teaching. This has seen the successful manifestation of teaching techniques.
Bijoya Mitra (TGT - English)
The teaching of English language is enhanced by teaching different songs, and extra vocabulary. To spark an interest in reading and keep it aflame, the children are provided a congenial atmosphere to read story books. A special time as DEAR (D-drop E-everything A-and R-read) period is alloted. To further this an author is chosen for every month.(eg. Enid Blyton for Nov). Children are given incentives for reading maximum number of books.
Princy Nair (Class Rep - III)
Someone once said, ‘children walk to school and run to home’. For our children at DPS it is definitely not true. The teaching learning process at DPS is an enjoyable and satisfying experience for the students as well as for me.
Anup Joshi (PGT-Chemistry)
Over the years I have experienced a variety of challenges which in itself has been a learning for me. I look forward to many more challenges while at D.P.S. “ The sky is the limit”
Beverly A. Court (Academic Co-ordinator Class III to V)
Being a part of D.P.S. has made me a part of the select band of teachers who are amply provided with opportunities required both for one’s growth as well as that of the children. I feel proud to be a part of this institution which has provided me with the joy of nurturing young souls & I parade the fact that in DPS, I am part of A REVOLUTION.
