Manjula Shroff

Ahmedabad based Calorx Foundation is the promoter of the Delhi Public School, Ahmedabad. Mrs. Manjula Pooja Shroff, the managing trustee of Calorx Foundation and Pro vice-chairperson, DPS Ahmedabad is the driving force behind the school.

Mrs. Manjula Pooja Shroff is the Executive Director of the Calorx Group of Companies, Delhi. The Calorx Foundation was formed in 1995 in Ahmedabad with special emphasis on educational activities.

A political science major, she has a post graduate diploma in Management Education Program from IIM-Ahmedabad. She has been awarded several accolades in the field of social work, education and entrepreneurship. Since the past 10 years, she has been actively working in the field of K-12 education. She strives for a professional and dedicated approach to education.

After the devastating earthquake in 2001 in Gujarat, Mrs. Shroff undertook the all too difficult but necessary task of giving a temporary shelter to the displaced populace of Ahmedabad. Visamo Shelter, came up on the University Grounds and was home to thousands of grateful denizens of Ahmedabad. Subsequently, she was the vision behind the Visamo Kids Foundation, which houses 40 underprivileged children and educates them in good English medium schools.

In 2001, Mrs. Shroff founded Prerna, a school for children with dyslexia. Prerna is within the campus of DPS and has 62 children studying under 8 committed and trained teachers.

Her husband Shri Pratul Shroff, an entrepreneur and software technocrat shares her belief and passion for education.
